Born and raised in a small community in northeast Nebraska, it was only natural for Dr. Shaffer to begin his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he graduated in 2002.

After that, Dr. Shaffer practiced in Norfolk for three years before moving his services to Lincoln in 2005. Since then, he has committed himself to pursuing ongoing educational opportunities to expand his knowledge of all aspects of dentistry, enabling him to offer the most current treatments and procedures. Specifically, he has spent the past several years focused on dental implant restoration training.

When he’s not in the office safeguarding your smile, Dr. Shaffer enjoys spending time with his wife, Teresa, and their three children. He is particularly passionate about assisting his son’s sports teams and has served in this capacity for the last eight years, coaching youth select baseball.
