Dr. Ryan Shaffer

Born and raised in a small community in northeast Nebraska, it was only natural for Dr. Shaffer to begin his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he graduated in 2002.

After that, Dr. Shaffer practiced in Norfolk for three years before moving his services to Lincoln in 2005. Since then, he has committed himself to pursuing ongoing educational opportunities to expand his knowledge of all aspects of dentistry, enabling him to offer the most current treatments and procedures. Specifically, he has spent the past several years focused on dental implant restoration training.

When he’s not in the office safeguarding your smile, Dr. Shaffer enjoys spending time with his wife, Teresa, and their three children. He is particularly passionate about assisting his son’s sports teams and has served in this capacity for the last eight years, coaching youth select baseball.

Dr. Steven Shaffer

Dr. Steven Shaffer followed in his brother’s footsteps and graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with high distinction in 2005. Today, he has over 20 years of medical and dental experience and strives to provide top-quality, evidence-based care that patients can rely on. He’s particularly passionate about esthetic dentistry and enjoys providing various cosmetic and restorative procedures to improve patients’ lives by enhancing their smiles.

Today, he collaborates with his brother, Dr. Ryan Shaffer, to provide a comprehensive menu of services to meet all your family’s needs under one roof. He welcomes patients of all ages and goes above and beyond to help you feel comfortable during your appointment. Whether you need a routine checkup and cleaning or want to upgrade your grin, he’s happy to listen to your goals and concerns and then tailor treatment plans to meet them.

When he’s not in the practice assisting your family with your oral healthcare needs, he can be found outside, staying active with cycling of all kinds. He also enjoys spending quality time with his wife of 25 years, their three children, and their dog named Tuesday.
