We pride ourselves as keeping up with current dental technology, but especially when it directly benefits our dentistry patients. Every day, the people of Southeast Nebraska get to benefit from our modern approach to dental care, and you can do the exact same by giving us a call today. Read on below to learn more about some of the state-of-the-art instruments you’ll find in our dental office!

Intraoral Camera

Dentist and patient looking at intraoral images

Ever feel left in the dark at your dental appointments because you can’t actually see what your dentist is talking about? This is no longer an issue at South Ridge Dental thanks to our intraoral camera. With it, we can easily capture high-definition images of your teeth and gums we can show you on a nearby monitor. Now, you and your dentist will always be on the same page. We can use these images to talk about the current state of your dental health, point out any areas of decay or damage, and discuss the benefits of particular treatments.

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-rays give us the ability to see what is going on underneath the surface of a patient’s smile so we can detect problems as early as possible, and they make traditional film X-rays seem like something from the Stone Age. Now, we’re able to capture and show you your X-rays in seconds without having to waste time in a darkroom developing them, plus the images are much sharper as well. Digital radiographs also require much less radiation than the films taken in the past, keeping our patients safer.

Soft Tissue Laser Dentistry

Our soft tissue laser uses a highly concentrated and focused beam of light to help us reshape and remove any problem tissues in the mouth. Healing times and patient comfort are greatly enhanced when a dental laser is used.
