How do you know if you\u2019re having an emergency? There will\ntypically be pain, but when should you seek treatment? Unlike other medical conditions that get better\nwith time, dental problems will only grow worse. A loose tooth is usually\ncaused by dental injury or infection. In some cases, your dentist may be able\nto stabilize it while removing any damage or decay. However, there is also a\nchance that it may need to be extracted in order to prevent spreading of\ninfection. Your Gums Are Swollen and Bleeding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you notice that your gums are bleeding when you brush or\nfloss, you probably have gum disease. You Have a Dental Abscess<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>An abscessed tooth is typically incredibly painful with an\ninfection that is in the tooth roots.
