A Friendly Wave<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Not all touch-free greetings have to be new! A friendly wave\nis a classic way to say hello or goodbye that will let others know you\nappreciate seeing them in these unusual times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.) Bow<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Although somewhat formal, giving a slight bow is another contactless\nway to enter or exit a conversation. If it feels a little strange at first, you\ncan start by simply tipping your head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.) Hand Over Heart<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This dignified yet friendly greeting was recently\ndemonstrated by WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who placed his\nright hand over his heart with a genuine smile. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.) Namaste<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the namaste can frequently be seen in Western\nvarieties of yoga and meditation, this traditional salutation comes from\nSoutheast Asia. Pressing your palms together at your heart and bowing slightly signifies\ngratitude and respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.) Shaka<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re looking for a more laid-back way to greet those\naround you, try an island gesture popular among surfers called the shaka. To\ncreate it, make a fist, then extend your pinky finger and thumb. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6.)
